Why we chose this
Most Android flagships are interchangeable at this price point. The Phone (3) is the only one with an actual personality — and now the personality is backed by hardware that doesn't compromise. For people who care about how a phone looks and feels, it's the most interesting option in the category.
The review
Nothing's third phone is the one where the gimmick (the Glyph LED interface on the back) finally graduates from interesting to useful. The new dot-matrix Glyph displays caller ID, calendar reminders, navigation cues, and timer countdowns at a glance — you flip the phone face-down on a desk and it becomes a tiny ambient display. The hardware is finally flagship-tier: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2, 50MP main + 50MP telephoto + 50MP ultrawide, 6.7" LTPO OLED at 120Hz, and a build that genuinely competes with Samsung and Google on materials. Nothing OS 3 is the cleanest Android skin we've used, including stock Pixel — it's fast, it's customizable in the right ways, and it doesn't preinstall anything you don't want. The Glyph interface is the differentiator, but the underlying phone is what makes the Glyph worth caring about.
